For Talk Week I exhibited The Boxer (Digitally Knitted Panel) and Passage (Découpaged Triptych).
How I introduced the works and my practice:
I am intrigued by the connection between what is considered sacred and the familiar. With an emphasis on collecting and also repurposing, I am particularly drawn to the associations we attach to these objects and images. Furthermore, I find these processes of elevation (within my practice) essential to what drives the works.
